Pub. in 1964. It seems that James Bond's inventor, Ian Fleming, had a very wide ranging imagination. Fleming wrote this wonderful story about a famous race car and its life with some wonderful children after it crashed and was abandoned. The stage play and Disney movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was taken from this book.
