I had high hopes for this book, being another in the Malory series. But what a let down. This one was the worst of the lot. I couldn't even finish it. Irritating characters, inane plot, rehash of old history between other family members, time-wasting head trips, no chemistry between the H/H. Don't bother with this silly saga. It's a waste of time and money.

I didn't make it through the second chapter. I know it's a romance, but too dippy!

Every Lindsey is worth the time to read, this one surprised me a little though. While it continues the Malory family it was a little short on the love affair between heroine & hero. The story was good, but I didn't feel it gave much time or attention to the main characters and that disappointed me a little.
This book was cute and certainly advanced all of our favorite Malory characters, but the relationship that should have been the focus of the book was very neglected and then rushed at the end. I would recommend reading it to catch up with Anthony, James, etc, but not a stand alone book by any means.

I loved this book and was not disappointed. I am always impressed by Lindsey in that she can bring back the old characters we love, while at the same time not boring you to death or making you feel like a series has run its course.
Katey is an excellent addition to the characters in the Malory stories and her daydream scenarios are a laugh.
I highly recommend this book if you are already a fan. And if you're not... well, get to reading the series!!!

a great read for any fan
This is part of the Mallory series and is another great story! Johanna Lindsey delivers another humourous, entertaining romance.
Another Malory/Anderson family work of "heart". These two families come together again in a most unexpected way!! Johanna Lindsey has a wonderful way with a romance/action story, I can hardly wait for the next installment!

When Sir Anthony Malory's daughter is abducted, the kidnapper mistakenly sends the ransom note to the home of Sir Anthony's brother, James. With James and his wife in the Caribbean, the demands are received by their houseguest, Boyd Anderson. Searching for the girl with Sir Anthony, the sea captain fully intends to make the foolhardy villain pay. But he hardly expects to find the culprit is Katey Tyler, the woman who caught his eye months ago while embarking on a world tour. Katey denies the charges, but Boyd will not let himself fall for her lies again.
This was an interesting book. I thought the romance between Katey and Boyd could have had more time to develop. As usual in this series, the author brings back the Malory clan and this time actually gives them something to do with a surprise twist in the story. My rating: 4 Stars.

great book
Another Johanna Lindsey winner. I love the Malory family, & now they are even more entwined with the American Andersons. A fast-paced, easy read, full of adventure, romance, and just joi-de-vivre.

The lasest Malory novel, I won't say it's the best because I love them all and am not sure I could ever pick a favorite, but definitely a terrific book!
After her mother died, vivacious Katey Tyler fled her dull Conecticut town, hoping to meet her relatives in England and find adventure and romance on a grand tour of Europe. She had no idea that her life-changing travels would have both in spades-as well as danger and intrigue-when she catches the eye of ship owner Boyd Anderson and inadvertently stumbles upon a high-stakes kidnapping.
When Sir Anthony Malory's young daughter is abducted from London's Hyde Park, her kidnapper mistakenly sends the ransom note to the home of Sir Anthony's brother James. With James and his wife, Georgina, in the Caribbean, the demands are received by their houseguest-Georgina's youngest brother, Boyd Anderson. Searching for the girl with Anthony, the notoriously hot-headed American captain fully intends to make the foolhardy villian pay.But he hardly expects to find exquisite Katey Tyler, recently a passenger on his ship, at the center of the plot!
Little does Katey realize that in having caught the attention of Boyd Anderson-and in meeting up with the Malory's-she's about to experience more excitement than the typical young lady encounters on a grand tour, and her life will never be dull again. A multitude of suprises await Katey, from the startling truth about her mother's early life to the lengths a man will go to win the affections of a lady who has every reason to despise him-but who can't resist the seductive, impassioned love he has to offer her.
With the delightful humor, lovable characters, and tempetuous passions that have placed Johanna Lindey's eight previous Malory novels among the best-loved and most widely read romantic novels of our time, No Choice But Seduction sweeps readers away on an irresistible adventure that is bold and charming as the heroine at its heart.

I enjoyed this book. It was a little slow in the beginning for character development. You can't go wrong with Lindsey though.

Book 9 in the Malory family. This is Boyd Anderson and Katey's story. I really enjoyed this book. I love the Malory family, but was a little discouraged with the last few Malory novels Lindsey put out. I thought they strayed from my original views and love of the family members, almost as if someone other than Lindsey was writing the books. This one I was fairly happy with. Not as good as Regina, Tony, or James story, but still good. Better than the last couple books I read in the series.
