I enjoy this excellent historical series, even though, at times, the plots seem to move slowly. This one seemed to begin the same way, but later in the book it speeds up so quickly, with so much happening---so many different threads coming together---I almost wanted it to slow down. I finally had to get up in the middle of the night to finish the book and find out what happens.
