Excellent book detailing the history of "fashion" and what are the Biblical standards that we must look to. It will challenge you to come out of just accepting what is around you and to look at what the Bible says. Very balanced book that is Scripturally sound!

The best book I've read on the subject of modesty from a Christian perspective. Jeff Pollard outlines what the Bible says, what God has to say about our clothing and how the fashion world and media dictates what we wear. He then challenges those who call themselves Christians to prayerfully re-asses what they wear and why.

This is an excellent history of the fashion industry and the corresponding word of God regarding His requirements for modest dressing.

This book is a must read for every born again child of God. Make no mistake God does care about what we wear and so does satan.

I wasn't impressed with this book. The author spent most of his time bashing the swimsuite industry. He offered no practical tips on dressing modestly, just, basically said, that all the evil in the world is because of the bikini. Not really helpful.

This book is not very long, but packed with an informative and brief history of how the fashion industry has planned and accomplished the revealing clothing trends of today. Plenty of sources are listed, and scriptures are included as well, as an encouragement for the reader to glorify God in everything you do, especially with what we wear.
