Sly, witty, quick to read. Not your typical holiday book - more on the lines of the Kranks Christmas story. I loved it.
In Garrison Keillor's usual style, these stories were a welcome antidote to the usual saccharin Hallmark-y sentiments of the season while still emotionally sucking us in to the magic and pain of Christmas.
Laugh out loud funny. This is my first book by this author and it leaves me wanting to read more by Garrison Keillor.
