I loved this book. I have all of Jennifer Chiaverini's Elm Creek series & I am so glad that she has circled back to them after doing a bunch of historical novels.
I have avoided this author's books since I read Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker. I had previously read everything, if not all of Ms. Chiaverini's books and even served on the street team for one; that's how much I enjoyed her books. Prior to reading Mrs. Lincoln's...., I had read Mrs. Keckley's own account of the time and felt I was reading the same book all over again.
In any case, I am simply delighted that Ms. Chiaverini has returned to Elm Creek and do wish she'd move away from her current trend more often!

I have enjoyed the Elm Creek Quilts from the very first book. This one was equally as good. When a maintenance emergency eliminates the venue for the annual Christmas Boutique fundraiser, the organizers must find a different location. They approach the Elm Creek quilters who agree to offer their estate and help in the organizing and facilitating of the event, a diverse mix of personalities lend to bringing out past problems and facing the future in their personal lives as well as the bond of quilters.
