Third in the Mure series by Jenny Colgan. Flora unexpectedly finds herself in "the family way" and wonders how to break the news to her boyfriend Joel who had a horrible childhood. Meanwhile, life on the small island goes on as it has for centuries regardless of the turmoil several of its citizens are experiencing. Love this series & Jenny's storytelling!
