Celebrate Christmas on Blossom Street with a brand-new romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Debbie Macomber! Katherine O'Connor often spends her days at a cozy cafe on Blossom Street in Seattle -- where she writes Christmas letters for other people. She's good at making their everyday lives sound more interesting. More humorous. More dramatic. But for Dr. Wynn Jeffries, who also frequents the cafe, Christmas means lies and deception. In fact, the renowned child psychologist recommends that parents "Bury Santa Under the Sleigh."

Katherine, however, feels that his parenting philosophy is one big mistake -- at least, based on her four-year-old twin nieces, who are being raised according to his "Free Child" methods. She argues with Wynn about his theories, while he argues that her letters are nothing but lies. They disagree about practically everything -- and yet, somehow, they don't really want to stop arguing. As the days -- and nights -- move closer to Christmas, Katherine and Wynn both discover that love means accepting your differences. And Christmas is about the things you share...

Beautiful Gift Book.

Very cute Christmas story! Takes place on Blossom Street, if you're familiar with Debbie's Blossom St knitting stories, and the story focuses on woman that writes Christmas letters to supplement her income while looking for a job in publishing. Along the way she finds love in the place she least expects it.

Cute and quick read, my first by Debbie Macomber and it won't be my last. Katherine doesn't like Dr. Wynn Jeffries at all since his book has prompted her sister to not set boundaries for K.O.'s twin neices and they have become demons overnight. Then she meets him and he isn't as bad as she thinks. Dr. Wynn Jeffries doesn't know what to think of the woman who publicly denounces his book to his face, but he slowly begins to fall for her.

Just a fun read, cute love story, nothing seems contrived, just fun. I want to read more in the series, though I don't think it took away from this book at all that I haven't read the previous two books. A great Christmas season read.

Amusing story of a child psychologist and a woman hoping to work as a publicist, who meet and fall in love. Woman totally disagrees with the premise of popular book written by the man she's falling in love with, which leads to disaster.

If you love Christmas and all the great things that happen during the season you will love this book. It is a romantic comedy and Debbie Macomber has become one of my most favorite authoresses.

This is a book about love finding each other and they were right under each others noses all the time and both were not looking for anyone really but they do find one another and must further find a way of accepting their differences. And if you ever have felt embarassed by a relative that comes to visit...read this one...it is sure to crack you up!

I just love Debbie Macomber. She writes the best novels and short stories. This 2006 Christmas installment is such an uplifting, funny book - it also includes some of the other characters from her Blossom Street series. A light read with some comedy and some drama but a very nice little story.

This was the December 2010 pick in my online book club, The Reading Cove. This was a light & funny holiday story, though a little too contrived in parts for my tastes. I rolled my eyes a few times, but it was cute overall. ;-)

This was not one of my favorite books by Debbie Macomber. I really enjoy reading the blossom street series and when I read this book tied in with the story I wanted to read it. It was okay but not something I'd recommend. It was supposed to be a romantic comedy and maybe it is just not my thing but it just seemed too... well it didn't make any since. It all seemed too unbelievable to be enjoyable for me. I did enjoy parts of it though and chuckled a few times (which is the only reason I gave it that half star) but I can't really recommend it to anyone.
