I really enjoyed this book. Not only are there great recipes but thoroughly enjoyed the personal little stories and notes she puts through out the book as well.

This book would make a nice Christmas or Thanksgiving gift. It is a sweet compilation of Deen Family memories and recipe tradtions.

This is a combination recipe book and memoir. Most of the recipes are not challenging and all seem holiday ready. I made three recipes, two desserts and a breakfast dish, and found them all excellent.
