One crucial aspect not mentioned (if it was, I missed it), was that Churchill, even when out in the field, rarely had a hair out of place. the only picture I could find with his hair sticking up was in France, and what would you expect? Of course, he wore hats a lot, something BoJo should note. To his credit, there are no pictures of the author within the body of the book, though how many history books can you think of where the author's name is as large as the title?
