This is a book about the chief medical examiner in NYC. From the cover and brief description this book appeared to me to be a lot darker than it actually was. The story played out more like a CSI episode, which I give the author credit for since this book was written well before that craze, than something in the spirit of George Romero which is why I bought the book.
