Heavy on interesting characters, which is her forte.
Clock Dance by Anne Tyler is an addition to the books about men and women of a certain age who, triggered by a moment, change their lives. Most of the books rely on creating sympathetic and endearing characters. If we, as readers, fall in love with the character, we invest in the story. If we don't, we read it and move on. This is one in which I am amused by the characters but find myself somewhat unmoved by Willa's story.

Started off a bit slow, but then as with most of Anne Tyler's books, really picked up and was an enjoyable read.
Great beach read! Real issues that one can relate to, especially those of us who are a bit older. Love the sense of humor that Anne Tyler uses in her writing.
