Any thoughts on the closing of the USPS? |

Shouldnt happen......rural areas would probably only get delivery 2 or 3 times a week if mail delivery privatized. |

The USPS is using a 2006 law that required it to pre-fund 75 years of pensions as an excuse to make massive budget cuts during the pandemic. While competitors like UPS and FedEx are eligible for bailouts, the USPS has been left out to dry by our government. Trump’s new Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy, was a major donor to Trump’s 2016 campaign. And the changes he’s suggesting in his memo don’t just harm services Americans depend on, but they directly target vote by mail restrictions. |

I sent a message to my Representative (in the US House) to tell him I support the Post Office. He replied that he has signed onto or sponsored two resolutions in support of them as well. This is the same man who replied to my message against seperating refugee familes with a defense of the current administration. |

If the post office closes, what will happen to PBS? Mailing a book will cost a lot more. |

Support USPS by buying stamps and call your representatives and tell them STOP blocking relief funding to the USPS |

Yes, media mail is definitely at risk if USPS continues to be gutted, and then mailing books will be more like ~$4-$10+ instead of ~$2.60-$4. |
