Whoever thought so much could be written about clutter?! This book was a real blessing because it explains why we have a need for clutter of all kinds - and why it can be so painful, yet joyful to let it go. "The older you are, the more you have to de-junk. And the longer you've been junked, the happier you'll be de-junked!" It also talks to us about teaching our children to de-junk at an early age. Very, VERY helpful and practical!

Fantastic book, yet another hilarious book written by Don Aslett. Aslett makes us laugh at our own clutter or our own habits in an attempt to motivate us. It worked for me!

You'll enjoy the wit and humor of author Don Aslett, if you never get up off the couch to put any of his MANY ideas into action. But this is also a book that starts you thinking and may prevent you from making some future mistakes when deciding if something is worth dragging into your home to claim valuable space on a shelf, in a closet, under the bed, or piled in a corner.

I am an "organization book junkie," and Aslett's straightforward, no holds barred approach is the best yet. Instead of telling us how to maximize our storage, he gets to the root of the issue. The author pinpoints the cost - in time, space, money, and relationships - connected with everything not useful or inspiring that we hang on to needlessly. If you like "warm fuzzies," you may be jarred by his in-your-face style, but Aslett throws in enough humor to help the medicine go down. I guarantee that after reading this book, you'll never look at your stuff the same way. A good exhortation for the whole family.

This was a cute, fun read, but not as helpful as I had expected. Most of the advice he gives for getting rid of clutter is more clearly stated by other authors. However, if you want to laugh at your own clutter habits, this is wonderful fun.
If you are packrat, this book is for you! It's written with loads of humor, but helpful information.

I see why this was recommended by so many. Outstanding book. Please note this copy has an inscription on the inside cover and is over 20 years old. In good shape, no other writing and very readable.
The cover is ripped, but I will tape it with book tape before sending. Very good condition.
