This is a book of short stories surrounding the history of Chicago. Some of the stories were not that well written, however not being from Chicago, maybe I didn't understand the significance of the story.
Stuart Dybek really knows how to write short stories...
An excellent short story collection, full of elegant prose. Read it, and find yourself glimpsing Chicago as well.
