This was a pretty good mystery. I was stuck in the hospital with nothing to read and someone was kind enough to give me this book. I hadn't read any of the John Coffin mysteries before, but I really liked this book despite its somewhat corny title. You don't need to have read Gwendoline Butler before in order to like this book. The plot revolves around two crimes in London: the disappearance of a bus full of tourists and the kidnapping of the son of a well-known actress. Police Chief John Coffin tries to solve these two crimes. There are a number of subplots going on at the same time, and unconnected crimes and incidents become connected in strange ways. I did not figure out the ending beforehand. Overall, I would recommend this book and look forward to reading more by this author.
