This was the first book of Lisa Jacksons that I read. It was AWESOME and so hard to put down that I lost many hours of sleep because of it. This book is well written and very easy to read and follow. Kudo's to this author and I look forward to reading her other novels.

"It sounds so crazy, but sometimes I get this feeling... its like crystals of ice over the back of my neck, and I feel he's close... closer than I ever imagined..."
Several women have been murdered and their corpse have been found throughout New Orleans. The killer thinks he's sly and suspects no one knows of his killer spree, and positive the suspiciousness of the cops doesn't lead to him. But really, Olivia Bechets who is mysteriously connected to the horrific killer by her visions. Frightened and spooked Olivia turns the the police. But skeptical Detective Bentz doesn't believe her even though more bodies turn up in the same gory, ritualistic manner Olivia described in her "so-called" vision as Bentz likes to say.
As the merciless killer keeps striking and killing women in New Orleans Olivia becomes frustrated by Bentz's doubtfulness but at the same time is confused at the attraction between herself and Bentz.
But her visions turn into premonitions as she sees a murder, one yet to be committed by the killer. Only this time in Olivia's vision she sees the victim's face and recognizes it, but the most shocking thing is that she recognizes the murderer's face as well. And she is closer to the killer than she ever imagined...
I recommend this book to anyone who loves mystery and murders. This book is unbelievably awesome, and when I was reading it, I couldn't put it down. This book will have you reading at the edge of your seat. So read Cold Blooded if you want to see who's New Orleans mass murderer, and see how close Olivia really is to the killer.

Lisa Jackson is a very suspensful writer.
Lisa Jackson's 2nd of 2 books is great. Takes place in my native Louisiana.
Wonderful mystery about a woman with frightening visions! Keep all the lights on when you read this one!
Murder, mystery, suspense and romance. Great pace, storyline and dialog.
NEw Orleans is in the icy grips of a merciless serial killer who is stalking the city.
Olivia Bechet's "sees" murder. The police don't believe her until the bodies pile up. Can she convince detective Rick Bentz before the murderer kills again? Good book!
A serial killer plagues New Orleans, unaware that he is being observed by a beautiful stranger-who has visions of his evil acts.
ABSOLUTELY RIVETING! I literally finished in 2 days. I could not put it down for any length of time
Excellent book
Great writer!
Another great Lisa Jackson novel. I can't wait to read the rest in the New Orleans series. The characters just grow on you.
Really worth reading, scary and the who done it, it will be a surprise.
This is a good sequel to Hot Blooded. I have read it twice!!
First time I've read anything by this author and will definitely read more by her.
Scary story!
good book full of suspense cant put it down until i finish
A woman is murdered in New Orleans and the killer thinks there are no witnesses--but his every move is "seen" by Olivia Bechet from her cottage on the outskirts of town. Weeks later, Olivia has another violent vision. Convinced a serial killer stalks the city, Olivia turns to detective Rick Bentz, who doesn't believe her even when a second body turns up--slain in the same way.
Good, suspenseful story of a woman who "sees" murders taking place.
This is a great book by Lisa Jackson. One of her best. Everything I like, serial killer suspense, visions, great plot, lots of twists and turns.
Very good - suspenseful
Great reading. Loved it!
Great follow up to "Hot Blooded". Detectives Rick Bentz and Deigo Montoya are about to become involved in another rash of killings that involve another Priest, only this time someone can see them happening. Olivia has the ability to see into the mind of the killer. Is it Bentz's half brother, Olivia's father or someone she does not know? Keeps you guessing all the way to the end.
great book the suspence had you hooked from the begining

Read Hot Blooded first.....
good book
Another serial killer is wreaking havoc in New Orleans, and it's up to detectives Rick Bentz and Reuben Montoya, the protagonists from Jackson's previous thriller, Hot Blooded, to reign him in. This time around, the detectives are joined by Olivia Benchet, a reluctant psychic who hails from a highly dysfunctional family. Olivia's visions of a priestly killer who tortures and sacrifices young females provide Bentz and Montoya with their best clues, but Olivia may be the next victim if Bentz doesn't shrug off his cynicism concerning visions and romantic entanglements with the wild-haired psychic. Twice burned by his former wife, who had an affair with his half-brother, Bentz now lives for work and his rebellious, 19-year-old daughter, Kristi. The hunt for the murderer escalates when Olivia realizes her visions are a two-way mirror, and the killer has Kristi and Olivia in his sights. Jackson's sanctimonious serial killer, who refers to himself as The Chosen One, is stock, but the dynamics between her protagonists, particularly between Bentz and Olivia, are a welcome counterpoint to the violent action. Although some readers may be repulsed by the killer's sexually sadistic crimes, which are depicted in graphic detail, others will be intrigued by Jackson's portrayal of the grotesqueries that result when faith and family are perverted. Great book
I don't read Lisa Jackson anymore, her books are way too long with just page fillers of descriptions that aren't necessary and it just makes the story long and boring
