Wanted to give it more than 3 stars but I had a couple of issues with it: at times I felt like I was sitting in a history class, too many people to keep up with so got lost a couple times and had to go back and find someone, and felt there was just too much 'background' on each person that wasn't necessary, the length of the book was good instead of inserting too much descriptions to make it a 400+ page book which can get boring, but the storyline was stuck between all the history and background pages.
3rd in series of Lucas Stonecoat, psychiatrist. Lucas is American Idian. Good thriller. Book club read and enjoyed.
Good mystery
