Another thriller by JT Ellison. Taylor Jackson is on the hunt for "The Conductor" a killer so sick and twisted...he starves his captives and treats them like art. Taylor and John Baldwin (her fiance) hunt this killer with the help of a New Scotland Yard decetive....the ending leaves you cold and definately makes you ready for the next installment of this series.

For me, this book started out a little slow. But, as I continued reading the book became easier and faster to read. Again, the subject is very dark, as is all of J.T. Ellison's books. The main characters are beautiful and vibrant. A smidge of romance is thrown in.
There are three villans in this book. One may never be caught and is a constant thorn for Taylor and Baldwin.
I actually loved this book and was sorry to see the ending. Now to wait another year for a follow up - pure torture.

Reading this book made me realize that we can devour a book in a couple hours or couple days but it takes a lot of time for authors to develop these stories. This book was extremely well researched and I found the story line intriguing. I do not want to say what I found to be the most interesting thing because it would give away some items from the book but I learned something that I did not know about people. Something that I cannot figure out and wonder what makes people do the things they do.
Also, Ellison is great with vocabulary and wines. I love that I have to look up words and enjoy her wine selections in her books. My favorite new word from this book is viscount.
This is the 4th book in her Taylor Jackson series and it is definitely worth the read. I did not give it 5 stars because I was somewhat disappointed at the end with the main story but realize that this author has many stories intertwined throughout her books. You cannot help but feel for her characters. (
