I love Rosenfelt's Andy Carpenter series. Collared is absolutely the best yet! At some points, Andy had me laughing out loud. The twists in the story are not predictable. This is really entertaining who-done-it.

I love Andy Carpenter, his family, friends, all the dogs
and of course, Marcus!
These are always "feel good" books which have me laughing out loud.

This story has Andy defending a kidnapper who he believes is jailed unjustly, has many twists and turns you don't see coming, with a stunning ending.

Loved it.

Another fast paced clever Andy Carpenter tale! As usual, it is funny with lots of courtroom drama along with his band of quirky characters. Keep 'em coming Rosenfelt!

When a dog is tied up at the Tara Foundation before anyone arrives in the morning, the reader knows that a fascinating mystery is afoot. Then, while scanning the dog, Willie finds that the dog's name is Cody and he was part of a child-and-dog-kidnapping three years before. From the time the dog is identified, the story unfolds at an accelerating pace.

This is one of those stories that I can't put down because it includes a horrifying attack on the nanny and the loss of a beloved child and family dog. The person in jail for the missing child is the ex-boyfriend of the adoptive mother. That mother is the high-powered CEO of a DNA analysis company. She was so shattered by the kidnapping that she has stepped back from her blockbuster company and seems to be stuck in a grief-filled void. Fortunately, Andy and his wife are friends with her and offer to help with whatever clues there may be.

This is absolutely an incredible story -- up until the last 20 minutes of reading (or so). I just didn't buy the solution. I don't want to ruin it for other readers and so that is all I will say. I just couldn't believe it. However, the book was so incredible up to that point that I don't want to penalize it any further than take away one star. It is still a cracker-jack story and a wild ride.
