I'm almost solely a historical romance reader & don't usually enjoy most contemporary romance novels, but I recently  discovered Colleen Hoover & I've been hooked ever since. I received "It Starts With Us" as an Xmas gift & it looked interesting, so I decided to read it. I was completely blown away by Colleen Hoover's writing style & her character development. The story is an emotional roller-coaster that keeps you eagerly turning the pages.  She can play on your emotions like no other author I know of. I realized ISWU is the second book in a 2 book series, so I also read the first book, It Ends With Us. It was equally good. You're crying on one page & laughing a few pages later. I also loved Confess, Ugly Love, Reminders of Him & Maybe Someday. My husband has also read them all & loves them too. If you search for her books on PBS, she's so popular that most books are only available on wishlists.
