This is a great book about the bond between people and their dogs. From the cover...Colter pairs one of America's most treasured writers with our most treasured "best friend." This would be a great read for a hunter, and since I haven't hunted in years it was not for me. But it was well written and the reader felt like they were out in Montana hunting for birds.
