Overall: This is a novelette and is an addition into the lives of all the characters in books 1-3 of this series. I wouldn't recommend as a stand-alone (unless you don't want to read 1-3 of the series)...it definitely needs to be read in order if you are reading the series.
The book expands upon Max and Callie's relationship (as well as bringing Max's sister in) and the relationship between Dillon, Seth, Michael and Lily. The original Colters' are included too...just in a supporting role.
