I loved this whole series. Finished in one night.
As all of Catherine Anderson's books, I was not disapointed. I love them all.
It is important to read these stories in order; COMANCHE MAGIC is the final novel in this great series. This story takes place in Wolf's Landing, Oregon. The two children of white Loretta and Comanche Hunter of the Wolf (from COMANCHE MOON and COMANCHE HEART are now adults -- this is Chase Wolf's story.
Chase has plans to be a lumber baron but has been stymied by an injury while logging. He is home with his parents to recover. While there, he meets Indigo's best friend, a prostitute named Franny. At first, he is horrified that his sister spends time with Franny. Before long, he is enchanted by her seeming innocence. This is a unique story and I don't want to divulge too much about it.
The whole series is wonderful but I thought this was the weakest story of the four. Perhaps it is because it took so long for Chase to get around Franny's defenses. However, by the end of the story, I was very happy that I'd read it.
