This was a very enjoyable book. It was about an Indian orphan that went to live with a family and he started feeling very secure there and didn't know how to handle it, so he left and became a US Marshal and how he finally learned to trust everyone and became more secure of himself and came "home" to marry the daughter and gave up the US Marshal job after he was shot by an outlaw he was sent to catch.
