I really enjoyed this book. I had a lot going on in real life that kept interfering so it took me awhile to finish reading it. It is compelling but not a scary book. However there were a few scenes that spooked me a bit. The ending was beautiful and surprising and gave those scenes that spooked me a whole new light.
Even though I was looking for something scarier than what I got, I still enjoyed this story. It all starts when Aaron's wife is killed. While mourning, he starts going through her belongings and finds a receipt for a hotel from a great distance away. Thoughts of infidelity start swirling through his head. He starts out on a journey to find the truth. On the way, he finds that he didn't know this whole other side of his wife and becomes consumed with the very same thing she was hiding from him.
Loved the way it was written. It was done so well that I became consumed with Aaron's journey as well. The ending was satisfying and I was content when I turned the last page.
