Incredible in it's depth of Kurt's past.

Interesting to note that this book was initially published in 1993...as many know Kurt committed suicide in 94....the significance of this is that the book doesn't attempt to paint Kurt as some martyr of rock...instead it is written with a sense of false optimism that is very refreshing and interesting when looked at in the context of the time.

Kurt's interviews with Mr. Azzerad are incredible.

For the nirvana fan and for the person who even has a remote interest in rock and roll music or the phenomena that was Nirvana at it's peak.

A very insightful book that keeps the freshness of the Grunge explosion. Much of the text comes from direct interviews with Kurt and the memories from the early days in Aberdeen are very insightful if not hilarious. No attempt to sadden this story has been done posthumously and Courtney's portrayal is respectful.
