I liked it but not as much as her 2 previous series starting with the "Yada Yada Prayer Group". The first and second book in this new series were enjoyable and it was fun re visiting some of the old characters butit was just not as engaging

Having not read any other books in this series, I was happy to pick this book up. Kat was quite annoying as a main character and I wished I could have dove into the others instead. This girl is full of herself.
Anyhow. Some quotes I enjoyed.
Pg. 58
"Of course you're in over your head. It's called swimming. You can't swim if you're still wading in the shallow end. This is what you've been preparing for, for years! You've told me yourself that God put a call on your life. Right? So now it's time to jump in."

"I have to remind myself that the whole point of worship is focusing on Godwho He is, what He's done. Once I put my focus on the right person I forget about myself"

"If only one woman is touched by something in the Word, that's enough."

Although the book started out a little slow for me, it didnt stop me from devouring the book. I was excited to catch up with Kat and the other members of the Souled Out Sister Series. Ms Jackson does a great job of crafting realistic and relatable characters . As readers journey along with Kat in her efforts to start a food pantry, they will be compelled to examine their motives for the pet projects in their lives. and how willing they are to release them back into the hands of God.
I thought the book done a great job illustrating how each of us have a thirst and hunger for something even when we cant articulate just what it is we are craving. Yet an invitation has been issued to each of us to come to the table.
