I wanted this book to be useful, so I tossed it in a recycling bin. No lie.

The authors hope that if they toss enough pseudo-Freudian analysis and laughable gender stereotypes at you, generously leavened with context-free Scriptural prooftexting, some of it will stick. The entire premise is that people who are gay are fatally confused about their "proper" gender role because their parents did something Horribly Wrong, they were abused as children, they just don't feel pretty, etc. The book massively conflates homosexuality with gender dysphoria (one suspects they don't actually see a difference) and slanders all same-sex relationships as inherently unhealthy, unstable and doomed to failure.

The therapies described and advocated in the book have been soundly rejected as ineffective, at best, and at worst actively harmful by every major psychological and psychiatric association in America. If you're a Christian looking for information about homosexuality for yourself or someone you know, run. This book, and other ex-gay manuals like it, are more likely to destroy your faith than change your sexuality.
