I purchased so long ago and this was just not enough. Better for young newly attached couples looking for added spiritual guidance than an actual textbook on communication. This is no communication manual. Looking for a "key to your marriage"? Look no further than the cover and find a real marriage and family counselor. This book won't do the job.
A lot more things go into a good marriage than you can find in this book. The redeeming quality for me was that after reading, I continued later in life to get my degree in Organizational Communication; so was an elementary introduction on improving relations in the first organization I have experience with (my family). It can be a good Christian Marriage workbook for some seeking ways to improve those experiences. That is its saving grace.
