An outstanding 'how-to' book for the beginning candlemaker, or a refresher class for the experienced one. Lots of creative ideas, practical formulas, melting points, comment on waxes, additives and processes.
Discusses needed equipment, wick selection, molds and mold care, fragrance, colors, and safe work habits. Lavishly illustrated with step by step photos and easy to follow directions.
Covers molded candles, carved, embossed, tapers, twisted, stone candles, sand candles, applique, and many more candle styles.

Everything you need to know about candle making. I loved the step by step instructions especially for more creative and unique candle making ideas. Puts candlemaking in everyone's reach. Great pictures. Lots of really good ideas.

More modern day late 1900's technical review of the candle making process than I wanted, but still a good book for people that are interested in candle molds and decorative candle making precess. Using techniques like 'sand molds' and 'form molds'; and different items embedded into the candle - like herbs, flowers and other objects.
