Filled with practical ways to fit things into your lifestyle it help your skin, light medical terminology with help to understand it and warnings of everyday things we do to hurt our skin this book really is great for those who want to help their fair to middling complextions reach its potential.

For those of us with deeper skin problems, a lot of the books suggestions mean going to the dermatologist, so if you have red skin, persistent acne or rashes, this isn't the book for you.

Was okay. Didn't tell me much that I hadn't known already. Gave details on beauty treatments (i.e. injections, lasers, plastic surgery) and common skin problems (i.e. rashes, moles, birthmarks). I was slightly disappointed with the lack of recommendations for moisturizers or even sunscreens. Dr. Gordon actually said that, if you have oily skin, you don't need to wear moisturizer! WTF? I have extremely oily skin but I wear a moisturizer/sunscreen every single day. Of course I've adjusted my skincare regimin according to the seasons. And I've also learned to love blotting papers. A better book would be "The Skin Type Solution" by Dr. Leslie Baumann.
