I couldn't get into this book. After halfway through I had to put it down. I was expecting more infomration of the folklore and histories of elves and fairies. This book touches on it but it is more aimed at the reader that actually believes that elves and fairies exist. The author spent more time talking about fairy circles, how to bring a fairy into your life and what to feed them than on the folklore of the fairies. I would have even settled for a more in-depth explanation of the different types of elves and fairies, but she barely touched on that. I had the distinct impression that the author felt that J.R.R. Tolkiens THE LORD OF THE RINGS was a documentary more than a story. If you are a believer in elves and fairies and feel that they do exist than this book is perfect for you. If you are looking for more information about the mythology or folklore then I would skip this one.
