Confessions of an Organized Housewife is an excellent book that discusses how to set up, organize and maintain a household. Although slightly dated (suggestions for a home office include having a typewriter), this can be easily overlooked when it comes to setting up and maintaining a well-run home.
Topics discussed including scheduling, planning, meal prep and planning, spending less money by shopping less (and how to shop with coupons etc for max. savings), organizing rooms including family room, children's rooms, a home office and kitchen. There is also a whole section devoted to paper and includes how to organize everything-from your vital documents to your hobbies-in easy to find places with a simple index card system. Also includes helpful recipes, advice on laundry etc.
I love my copy-a great addition to any homemaking library!

One of the best books I've read on keeping up the housework.
