A fun continuation of the St John talisman ring stories with Brandon St John's story. I loved the fact that the author made the heroine feisty and willing and able to stand up for herself. I found myself laughing out loud at some of the things that Verena does and says.
Mystery, murder, secrets and love are all here.
Verena's butler Herberts adds more laughter to the story - he is a character. I really like it when an author makes a minor player so interesting.
