Twain's satirical humor is always a treat. His long asides make it difficult to follow the story sometimes. Nevertheless it's worth reading.

Interesting take of time travel. The main character does finally learn that the "ugly American" (in any era) is not a good person and reforms his ways. Plenty of irony and satire included.
