The Conquering Sword of Conan is the final collection of Robert E. Howard's Conan stories presented by Ballantine. And it includes some of the darkest stories Howard ever put down on paper of this barbarian hero. While Howard might not have been at his best, even his most half-hearted efforts are better than most of his imitators best works. It includes two of, arguably, his best Conan stories: Red Nails and Beyond the Black River. And of course, Ballantine has gone all out with extras such as synopses, early drafts, and essays. No Conan fan should be without this fine addition! If you love adventure, this is a great book for you!
