It is difficult to over-praise this book. Kurt Eichenwald has provided a clear and entertaining account of what could easily have been a dry retelling of arcane accounting details that led to the downfall of mighty Enron. Eichenwald brings to life the characters involved in the events that led to the downfall. The true events read more like a Grisham work of fiction. If you only read one business/corporate related book, this is the one.

A book I enjoyed reading very much. Its long and detailed. Probably would have to be a CPA to really understand all the complicated transactions. However, Eichenwald does a good job letting you know who are the good guys and who are the bad guys. Warning: you'll have to go to Google to find out what happened to all the main characters. Book ends before all are prosecuted.

Absolutely astounding, massively detailed. Not an easy read, but captivating.
