Tasneem M. (apennysaved) reviewed Control of Communicable Diseases Manual 1995: 5 Prepack on + 3 more book reviews
This is a great reference handbook on communicable diseases. It lists each disease in alphabetical order and provides the following information: identification, infectious agent, occurrence, reservoir, mode of transmission, incubation period, period of communicability, susceptibility and resistance and methods of control. The only problem with the book is that it is a bit out of date and doesn't include the newest emerging infections. However, great book for college and public health students. It is the official report of the American Public Health Association.
