I did not like this book at all. It has a very predictable and unsatisfying plot. The book is filled with such phrases as "time went as slow as a turtle on Valium." The book is supposed to be Christian fiction, yet the characters never attend church (not even for the title wedding), nor is God even mentioned.

I loved this book! It was such an amazing parallel to what Christ gave to us. It's a picture of His unconditional love. I know that many have stated that it wasn't Christian enough, but I disagree. The message is more underlying than that of most Christian fiction, but there nonetheless.
A very romantic, even if somewhat predictable, satisfying read. I finished the book with a smile on my face. That is, after all, why we read! :o)

This is what I would call a 'car-line' reader. The story and characters are easy enough to follow that you can pick it up and put it down for a week while waiting in the car-line at your child's school. Although I enjoyed the story, I found the main character to be underdeveloped. I would have liked to see her grow more throughout the storyline. I especially appreciated the underlying romance currents that were played out in a moral setting rather than having to endure all the steamy carnal scenes. If you are looking for a way to fill your time when you have 'waiting' time, this book will sate your reading appetite.

I found this book a lighthearted enjoyable read.
It was fairly predictable but still a lot of fun.

Having been in a reading slump, this book was good enough to grab my attention and get me reading again! I believe it was my first book by Denise Hunter and while the storyline was a little over the top (not overly realistic), I enjoyed it immensely.
