Loved this novel! The propulsive energy of the narration swept me along, and I barely ever wanted to shut the book to eat or sleep. The narrator deals out information about her background sparingly and slowly, and that's part of the spell. A very enjoyable read, and now I'm off to order more Denise Mina books. (This was my first.)
