Second book in the Cookie Cutter Shop series. I feel like I struggle with these characters. I really want ot like them, but I there is just a little something missing. I think I want the characters to feel like friends and these so far have not. 3 stars

I enjoyed this story, look forward to the next one. The friendship between Livie and Maddie is fun, as well as the relationship between Livie and her mother. Good clean read and I wish for recipes for the cookies and frostings. Would be fun to have them.

I liked it. It seemed a little slow at the start, but then there were plenty of suspects and mysterious situations. I liked the end when Olivia gathered all the suspects (like an old fashioned Miss Marple story would have).

Olivia Greyson has more than cookies on her plate..she discovers the body of a man she had seen running away from her neighbor's ransacked store, The Vegetable Plate...It turns out the victim is the owner's abusive ex ... Olivia's brother has confessed to the murder and she is sure he is innocent..... There is little the police (her boyfriend Del) can do because Jason refuses to withdraw his confession....Was not difficult to figure out "who dun it", but it was an OK read......There was a long time between books, and I forgot the who the characters were and their relationships....
PS - I wish there were recipes !
