This is my first Black Lace book and I loved it! I wish I could teleport myself into Abby and Storm's world. I'm going to Cape Cod this weekend myself so maybe I'll look for their little village (though I think it might be fictional). LOL

Don't get me wrong, I like Emma Holly...as long as she's writing about the Upyres in her Midnight series. As for her attempts at erotica, I find it tends to lean more toward truck-stop porn. Yes, her love scenes are incredibly sexy. She's certainly not afraid to go into detail, which I like. But, the plots that fill in the gaps between these love scenes are very loose at best...not very well put together. "Cooking" like so many other Holly novels is a great read if you only want hot sex, but forget it if you like a decent plot WITH your sex.
