This book was great. I was hooked from page one. It is a very fast paced read. I am an Erica Spindler fan, and I have to say I think this is her best book yet. The plot of this story is great. I know that little children are involved, so that makes it a little disturbing, but it is written with taste. She is not graphic about the killings. I would recommend this book to mystery lovers, it is definately a worth while read.

This is the first novel I've read by this author and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. It's a chilling story and every single time I thought I had it figured out, there was a twist! I love mysteries that keep you guessing until the very end.

Can Kitt catch the sleeping angel killer this time around? The killer is back after 5 years and is mocking the police. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat guessing who it is. I would recommend this book to my friends. It kept my interest.

This was a book that I didn't want to put down. I did suspect part of the whodunit, but as usual for Spindler, there was a spin at the end. The characters went through many theories of their own, which were hard to follow at times because they kept changing their minds. Overall it was enjoyable though.

Oh my gosh. There was so much going on between characters while the main story was fast paced and exciting. Not confusing.
I felt as though I should be tired after reading some of the chapters. Of course very well written.

Like BLOOD VINES this probably won't go down as one of my favorite Spindler books...and can't quite pinpoint how it fell short for me (characterization I think) BUT from the author notes I"m guessing she wrote this during Hurricane Katrina and I know she had to leave her home...LAST KNOWN VICTIM is so much better written than this one. That said, it's a good book. The second book in the series, BREAKNECK was actually a lot better!

I just picked this book up for something to do - WOW! I could not put it down. A lot of intrigue here. I kept trying to guess "who dunnit", but I was blown away when it was revealed. A little bit of romance. A lot that tugs on your heartstrings. A lot of mystery.

I'll certainly be looking up more by author Kitt Lundgren.
