My favorite of the series. This series has been a little slow to hook me and I considered not reading the latest one, A Corpse for Yew, but I'm glad I did. The characters seemed more 3 dimensional this time and I was glad to finally see Peggy actually sleep and eat because in other books in the series she never seems to have the time or inclination to do either.
The final book in this series, brought closure to Peggy and Steve and was a very enjoyable read. Great story, good characters and great plant information once again. Very enjoyable, look forward to other books by this couple. Mystery was fun and didn't figure it out until almost the very end.
A mystery involving an older woman who does forensic botany for the police department of a small southern town as well as owning a plant nursery. There's romance, feuds going back to the Civil War, much small-town gossip, etc. The authors have written other mysteries with the same characters and setting. There are also "garden tips" mainly about different kinds of plants and how to deal with an on-going drought. Interesting, but not a book I will reread.
