Really enjoyed this one! Non-stop action from start to finish. There were several story-lines going throughout the book and I thought they were all well-done. These included the first part of the book about the capture of a Somalian pirate - then the main story-line of the terrorists who capture the Secretary of State on her way to a Libyan peace conference and the quest for the Barbary pirate's or "Corsair's" lost writings that could help pave the way for peace. Some of this was straight out of Indiana Jones - especially the booby-trapped cave with the lost pirate's treasure, but even with the very far-fetched situations and outcomes, this overall was a great action novel. I read on the internet that Jack Du Brul was really the main author of this book - writing from an outline by Cussler. Du Brul has written several books on his own - I may try to find some of these to see if they hold up with the books he has written with Cussler. The Oregon File novels are great!

Great read. The book contains two of my favorite themes: archeology of the past and technology of the future.
