This book was very hard to put down. I was amazed at the amount of research the author did in putting the story together. The story begins with Blythe Stowe catching her husband in bed with her sister. Don't get the wrong idea, this isn't a trashy romance novel. I really enjoyed the quotes from Blythe's grandmother from Wyoming. The contrast between her an the 'stuffy Englishman' was fun. Do you have any friends or relatives that are "mad, bad, and dangerous to know"? A great book!

This was a delightful romantic suspense novel in the vein of Mary Stewart, with a touch of the paranormal thrown in as Blythe finds herself swept occasionally into the past to witness/experience the love story of ancestors many generations back.
