Great Christmas story.
With her four-yar-old son in tow, widow and teacher Joni Evans packed and left Chicago to start a new life in Saddle, Wyoming. But for Brady Evans, something was missing--a daddy. And who better he thought to ask for something for Christmastime than Santa himself?

Stand-in Santa Sam Crawford knew all about horses, but what he knew about kids could fit in his Stetson! Still, it was the least he could do to find Brady's mom a man from the passel of eligible cowboys in his hometown. Himself not included, of course--until he laid eyes on the lovely Ms. Evans. Could Sam convince Joni that the perfect husband and father was just a kiss away?

Predictable, but still an entertaining and heart-warming book. Quick to read; read it in a couple of hours.

Joni Evans has just moved into Saddle with her son Brady, their first visit is with Santa. Brady tells Santa he wants a Daddy. Can Santa grant this one child's wish? I loved this story but it will make you cry.
