An intriguing concept that hooked me with the characters' dry humor. In a market that's flooded with vampire romances, this one stands out. Also presents a view of vampires that explains them as a function of what's good in the world.

Well, the title says it all. It's definitely a different kind of romance. I just love it when the writer gives you a totally unconceived version of how vampires came to be. You will love it and Lizzie's cowboy, his family, and friends. Enough humor to keep the story from dragging on too long and enough biblical fact to make you go hummm. Definitely worth your time to read. Just wish there was another book to look forward to with Lizzie, Tucker and of course wonder dog Rex.

Great book! A hero and heroine who fight to stay with each other against all odds. If you get the chance to read this one, do! You won't be sorry.

THE COWBOY AND THE VAMPIRE is one of the most entertaining books of fiction I've read in many years. It captures all the best of a few different genres such as horror, sci-fi, romance, westerns and action. Wonderful dialogue that makes you enjoy every character that is speaking.

I cannot recommend this book high enough. Really entertaining and would make a great film of TV show.

OK, I just loved this book. I loved it so much that I wound up with two copies, so I was able to post one, but will keep the other. Hokey, maybe, but so cute that you get sucked in to the hilarious juxtaposition of the timid, really does not want to be the vampire queen girl, with the double negative speaking, not very smart but very loyal cowboy. This is not a scary vampire book, this is a romantic comedy.

Didn't live up to the hype, for me. By the last 75 pages I was just glad it was over.
