This was a sweet romance set in Colorado. It centers around chef Vivienne who returns to her hometown of Clayton Colorado in order to get an inheritance from her grandfather. The catch is she must live there for one year. Desperate for a job to tide her over, Vivienne gets a position cooking for ranch hands at the Circle C Ranch. This puts her in close contact with Cody Jameson, the owner of the Circle C. Cody had a crush on Viv back in high school but she wouldn't give him the time of day. Now, as love blooms between the two, will they be able to banish all their doubts.

This was a short and sweet second chance romance about a "city girl" returning home to fall for a ranch owner. I liked the setting, the emphasis on faith and community, and the happy ending. I did feel that the us vs them of city/country and the west/New York was a little heavy handed. There are actual Christians in NYC too!
